Pension Scheme
Our employees are eligible to join the Company’s Stakeholder Pension Scheme which is managed by HSBC.
Life Assurance
In the event of death, our employees are covered by a life assurance policy at the rate of two times basic salary.
Holidays
Our employees are entitled to 23 days of holiday and 8 public holidays during the annual leave year of January to December (Management and staff with over 5 years service are entitled to 25 days of holiday plus 8 public holidays).
With the agreement of their immediate manager employees can carry forward up to five days of their annual holiday entitlement into the following calendar year.
Other Leave
We provide our employees with other leave from work (including Maternity, Adoption, Paternity, Parental, Bereavement Leave and Time off to care for a dependant).
Company Sick Pay
After twelve months service our employees are eligible for Company sick pay.
A-Plant Corporate Clothing
All employees are provided with high quality corporate clothing appropriate to their role.
Eye Care
We pay for regular eye tests and, where necessary, will make a contribution towards the cost of spectacles for VDU use or for Driving where employees are required to use a computer or drive as part of their role.
Recommend a friend
Employees have the opportunity to earn up to £500 for recommending a friend to join the Company.
Training & Development
We provides all employees with access to a fully comprehensive training programme, including the opportunity to gain an NVQ qualification relevant to their job role. Our training programmes are tailored to meet individual needs and include tools such as e-learning, facilitated training and mentoring. We also provide sponsorship for further education if it is relevant to your current role or future development within the Company.
Retirement Awards
Employees retiring from A-Plant at the age of 65 or older and with a minimum of ten years service will receive a Retirement gift of £200 plus £10 for each year of service. We also offer retirees the opportunity to attend a retirement planning programme.

Colleague Assistance Helpline
Our employees have access to a confidential telephone helpline and on-line support service which provides legal advice, debt counseling or even help with relationship difficulties. The services are free of charge and available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
